This walking tour starts from the religious center with the magnificent Cathedral of Florence, Santa Maria del Fiore, crowned by a dome that was designed by the architect Brunelleschi. In the cathedral piazza stands the Baptistery of San Giovanni and the elegant Giotto Belltower (Campanile di Giotto).
The next site is the Signoria Square, the political center represented by the Old Palace (Palazzo Vecchio) and surrounded by an outdoor museum of statues that decorate the piazza that are almost all originals from the 15th century.
We will then see the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), the only bridge in the world that is filled with jewelry stores. The tour will end in Piazza Santa Croce with a visit to the tombs of famous artists and personalities like Michelangelo and Galileo.
